Raft Motors Limited (formerly known as Raft Motors Private Limited), CIN U52100MH2019PLC331701, having its Registered Office at B/607, 6th Floor, Kanakia Wall Street, Andheri Kurla Road, Chakala, Andheri (East), MIDC, Mumbai, Maharashtra – 400093, and Corporate Office at 19 Monohar Pukur Road, Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata, West Bengal – 700029 (hereinafter referred to as “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), issues this Warranty Policy (“Policy”) to customers (“Customer” or “you”) of Raft Cosmic EV products purchased via our website raftcosmicev.in or authorised channels.
This Policy sets forth the limited warranty for your EV vehicle (“Vehicle”) and associated components (“Warranted Parts”), outlining coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures.
- DEFINITIONS
- “Battery”: Lithium-ion battery provided with the Vehicle.
- “Charger”: Off-board charger supplied with the Vehicle.
- “Defect”: Manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship affecting normal use.
- “Normal Use”: Use consistent with the User Manual guidelines—proper charging, storage, routine maintenance, etc.
- “Warranty Period”:
- Vehicle components (Motor and Controller): 1 year.
- Battery: 3 years or 30,000 km, whichever occurs first.
- Charger: 1 years from invoice date.
- WARRANTY COVERAGE
Subject to terms and exclusions, we warrant that under Normal Use:
- Warranted Parts will be free from manufacturing defects during the relevant Warranty Period.
- Battery capacity will be maintained within 70% of nominal capacity throughout its Warranty Period.
We will, at our discretion, repair or replace defective Warranted Parts using new, refurbished, or reconditioned genuine parts. Replaced components become our property. Any repair/replacement inherits the balance remaining under the original Warranty Period.
- EXCLUSIONS
The warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by:
- Accidents, collisions, theft, vandalism, misuse, or negligence.
- Non‑compliance with User Manual, abnormal environmental exposure, or use of non‑approved parts.
- Unauthorized repairs, modifications, software tampering, or continued operation post-warning.
- Use for racing, towing, off-road or commercial purposes.
- Natural wear-and-tear consumables (e.g. tyres, brake pads, seals), cosmetic damage, or environmental effects.
- Transport damage, fraud, or failure to charge/use the Vehicle per guidelines.
- Use of third-party chargers or accessories not approved by Raft Motors.
- CLAIM PROCESS
To claim warranty service:
- Contact us at info@raftmotors.com or via the website.
- Provide your invoice, Vehicle Chassis No., and description of the Defect.
- Present the Vehicle at our authorised service centre for inspection.
If deemed valid, we will repair or replace the defective part at no charge for material or labour. You’ll be responsible for transport and incidental charges.
- CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and follow the User Manual, safety instructions, and this Policy.
- Maintain routine care and timely service at authorised centres.
- Report defects promptly—failure to do so may void coverage.
- Retain all documentation related to service and purchase.
- ADDITIONAL TERMS
- This is our sole express warranty; all implied warranties are limited to the Warranty Period to the extent permitted by law.
- Post-warranty repairs or replacements will be chargeable per our then-current rates.
- We may administratively use data logs to verify warranty claims.
- Supplementary or extended warranties may be offered under separate terms.
- GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
This Policy is governed by Indian law. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

We reserve the right to modify or update this Policy. Updates apply from the date posted on raftcosmicev.in. Continued use indicates acceptance of updated terms.
